ANALIZA SVEŽEGA BETONA

Fresh concrete analysis
The analyses of fresh concrete are carried out in order to control correct dosage of cement and mineral ingredients in the concrete making works, to control homogeneity of concrete at its practical application as well as in order to control the quality of concrete mixers. The analyses are usually made in laboratories, but most frequently they are performed on building grounds.
In the article the author treats in details two methods of analysing fresh concrete, namely: the method by washing out and the method by Joisel. Comparative results have shown that the accuracy of both methods is satisfactory. But at current examinations, especially on building ground, quick analysis is often given preference to the accuracy of results-wiithin the given limit. Therefore the second method happens to be given full preference for its promptness and turning out of time for drying. The method asks for some special additional equipment.
On the other hand the work according to the method by washing out can be considerably accelerated if there is a sufficient number of stoves available. Both methods are comparatively simple and are easily carried out in laboratories.
